Stained Glass using the Copper Foil method
In this technique the artist wraps adhesive copper tape around the edges and pre-cut pieces of glass before soldering the pieces together. More versatile than the lead method, copper foil allows for the creation of three-dimensional works.

Stained Glass using the Lead method
A traditional method of creating stained glass, the lead method uses lead "came" strips which have channels on either one or both sides. The artist inserts the pre-cut class pieces into the slots to create the design. Lead method pieces are what you commonly see in churches and other religious buildings.
